Carmelo Carnavale - Private Chef

Chef Carmelo’s passion for cooking began at an early age and he started his career in Sicily. He subsequently travelled to London, where he worked alongside Michelin Star Chef, Alberico Penati in some of London's leading restaurants, such as Harry's Bar, George Club and Annabel's.

 

Through the years, Chef Carmelo's career has become international, taking him all over Europe and beyond. He became an Executive Chef at Le Yaca Hotel in St Tropez, Bella Napoli Group in St Petersburg, Russia, Elements at Amara Singapore, and later a Brand Chef for two new Barbaresco Restaurant openings. The menu of 2213 restaurant was awarded by Time Out Russia Best Menu of the Year 2011.

Chef Carmelo is also the president of the Associazione Professionale Cuochi Italiani - UK (APCI-UK), the professional association for Italian Chefs. Besides receiving rave reviews for his authentic and accessible Italian dishes, Chef Carmelo has been given many great accolades and his Mediterranean diet recipes have been published in the Telegraph and the Times.

 

Carmelo has extensive experience as a Private Chef, enjoying many high profile private appointments such as H.R.H. Prince Harry and members of the Royal Saudi Family.
